The Board of the Fund is set up and organizes the activity on the basis of the structural and principal scheme of the management by the IFAS approved by the Heads of the States of the Central Asia as of 28 February 1997 in Almaty. IFAS Board is established according to the proposal of the State Governments of the Central Asia as well as the by the decision of the Fund President. The structure of the Board consists of the one representative as the Deputy Prime Minister from each State. Currently, the IFAS Board structure includes:
The meetings of the Fund Board takes place not less twice a year. The venue and the date of holding the meeting is determined by the Fund president. Main objectives of the Fund Board are the following:
Fund Board members carries out the control for the annual obligatory fees payments into the IFAS by the states-founders in order to execute the decisions adopted by the Heads States of the Central Asia as of 28 February 1997 in Almaty approve the regional programs, estimate-financial papers, project and program managers and consider them as well as with Executive Committee jointly take necessary decision on current issues not requiring special decision of IFAS.
