10 years IFAS (decisions and events) The book describes a history of IFAS formation, its structural organizations in the founder-countries and their activities for 10 years. There are all materials of the sessions of the Heads of the states in the various cities of Central Asia, the questions considered by them connected to Aral Sea crisis and accepted measures on mitigation of its influence on the population, ecological and social and economic situation of the region are reflected in it. The agreements, the communique, concepts and declarations, which were accepted by the Heads of the CA States, are also resulted in the book. They are a basis of activities of all structural organizations of IFAS and the Governments of the Central Asian countries. The separate section of the book contents Board meeting materials, the major questions considered for this period, the accepted decisions connected to Aral Sea crisis and influence of this crisis on ecological, social and economic situation of the countries of the Aral Sea Basin. At the end of the book in the chronological order are resulted the IFAS Presidents' names, members of the IFAS Board and inspection Commission of IFAS, the chairmen and members of the Executive Committee of IFAS, heads of branches of the Executive Committee, members of ICWC and ISDC and heads of SIC ICWC and ISDC, and also heads of their divisions. The book is issued for experts, scientists and a wide layer of readers. The book will consist of 246 pages and is issued in Russian and English languages. IFAS: The way to regional cooperation
There are Aral Sea crisis, its global influence on environment and an economic situation of the Aral Sea Basin and, especially, in zone of Pryaralye, the ways and methods of mitigation of influence of this crisis on region and its population are reflected in these articles and statements. . The book is issued for wide layers of the population and experts of branches of a national economy. The book consists of 204 pages and is issued in Russian and English languages.
Aral: The history of dying sea The first part of the book is written by Ashirbekov U.A., the expert worth at sources of IFAS formation, permanent director of Nukus branch of Executive Committee of IFAS from the date of its formation. Ashirbekov U. as the eyewitness describes size of crisis and accepted measures for this period on its mitigation. In the section the author chronologically describes a history of studying and development of the Aral Sea Basin. Another part of the book is written by known scientists T.N.Trofimov which is devoted to the deep analysis of a history of climate change, to results of researches of a river inflow of the basic rivers of the Aral Sea Basin and water balance of this water capacity. The book consists of 86 pages and is issued Russian and English languages. The basic data of the Aral Sea crisis, the review and the analysis of the realized projects and programs on the countries of region for the period 1994-2003 are reflected in this book. There is given the analysis of a present situation of environmental and social and economic conditions in the region of the Aral Sea Basin and priority directions on their improvement in the ASBP-2 for the period 2003-2010. There are all 58 projects on 14 priority directions on improvement of environmental and social and economic situations of the Aral Sea Basin for the period of 2003-2010 with definition of term of their execution, an estimated cost of their realization and the basic executors of projects are resulted in detail in the Appendix The book consists of 164 pages and is issued in Russian and English languages.
