"Pamir - 2005" Expedition
C 5 on August, 29, 2005 the Regional Center of the
Hydrology, Executive Committee of IFAS and State Agency of
Hydrometeorology of the Republics of Tajikistan was organized the
"Pamir - 2005"
Expedition. The
focal aim of carrying out of this expedition was to examine the
glaciers, lakes and hydrometeorological stations and posts located in
the territory of Pamir. "Aral Sea-2004" Expedition Executive Committee of IFAS with an assistance of the Executive Directorates - branches of the Executive Committee of IFAS in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Akimats of the Southern-Kazakhstanian and Kyzylordinskaya areas of the Republic of Kazakhstan was organized an “Aral Sea-2004” Expedition from October, 13 till October, 18, 2004. This expedition was arranged as the continuation of “Aral Sea-2003” Expedition which was carried out in September 2003.
The main aim of carrying out of this expedition
was to make representatives of the states - founders of IFAS familiar
with ecological and social - economic conditions in downstream of the
Syrdarya River and in the drain formation zone of the Chu River, as well
as defining of an existing problems on water-economic, ecological and
social - economic questions in the above-stated areas. "Aral Sea-2003" Expedition Expedition “Aral Sea– 2003” was realized on the territory of Kazakhstanian part of Priaralye – in the Kazalin and the Aral districts of Kyzylordinskaya area and on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan– the Karakalpakstan area.
The main aim of this expedition was to familiarize
representatives of the states - founders of IFAS with activity conducted
in the zone of ecological crisis and carrying out of the seminar on:
“Improvement of ecological and social - economic conditions in the
Priaralye - the general direction of activity of IFAS”. |
